Our preferred kit?s clean, modern components are handmade in the USA along lines that date to 18th-century Belgium. Each set comes with a board cut from end grain basswood, with scoring rings separated by hydraulically-inserted brass guidelines. Darts are finely balanced, have polished steel tips, and birchwood barrels and shafts.
Our collaboration with the 108-year-old case maker starts with kiln-dried American cherry and finishes with solid brass hardware. The case is emblazoned with custom felt lining and the stamp of excellent storage, the Best Made data plate. More suitable for the bookshelf or desktop than the stately 41D, the Utility Chest is a home for the tools of your craft.
